Eyes - Dark Circles
DIY Fixes
• Get your beauty sleep!
Dark circles are usually the result of too many late nights. If
you've been burning the candle at both ends, look at your
lifestyle and see what you can change to help you get more
sleep - if you can manage to get to bed at 10pm at least
twice a week, that's a good start. If insomnia is the problem,
you could benefit from de-stressing some parts of your life
and learning a few relaxation tecniques to become Sleeping
beauty.
• Find a good concealer
Choose a formula that's designed to be used under the eyes
(these usually come in a pump dispenser with a bush attached
or with a wand applicator). Avoid thick, drier formulas that
come in pots, as these are more suited to covering blemishes.
And make sure you choose one that's a shade lighter than
your natural skin colour. Once you've applied it to the dark
areas, dab it gently with your fingertip to blend it in - don't
wipe it on as you'll actually just be wiping it off!
• Come out of the shadows
Try Eye Refining Serum. This treatment gel targets undereye
shadows, evening out skin tone and brightening and
smoothing the whole area. It feels really nice around your
eyes, too. Worth a go if you feel like getting a special eye
product.

At The Clinic
• Pelleve
As well as tightening baggy eyes this radiofrequency
treatment can also help with dark cirlces. Because the skin
is so thin underneath your eye, it's often a vein that you see
and not actually a dark circle. Radiage helps by stimulating
collagen and thickening the skin so you can't see the vein.
Ouch factor: Not painful
How long will it last? Several years with regular top-ups.
Tip
I see a lot of Asian women at the clinic who suffer with
terrible dark circles and it really affects their self-confidence.
Smartxide laser can help with this, but I've also had great
success with a skin brightening Photo Resist
